Helsinki Roller Derby has received many applications from skaters, referees and NSOs from roller derby leagues from all over Europe to come to Helsinki, Finland and play roller derby and learn from some great coaches in the process!
UPDATES: Forms are now closed. All applicants will receive an email by January 17, 2010. If an applicant is selected to participate in this event, they will receive payment info, hotel info, etc. Unfortunately, we have received a lot of applications and not all applicants will get to skate at this event.
We have also confirmed 2 great referees coaches: Hunter S. Toss ‘Em and Riff Reff!
The event in a nutshell
- 30.4.2011: 56 skaters in half-day of training followed by 2 public international mixed bouts
- 1.5.2011: 60 skaters and 14 refs in full-day Bootcamp
- Skater coaches: Swede Hurt, Estrogeena Davis, Danger Girl, Sum Mo Payne, The Bone Setter
- Referee coaches: Hunter S. Toss ‘Em and Riff Reff
